Non-Ferrous Receiving Labourer

We are looking for a Non-Ferrous Receiver – Labourer to join our Sept-Îles team.

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for receiving, sorting and handling non-ferrous metals. The work is mainly performed indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks depending on operational needs.

This position focuses on manual work, material handling and metal sorting in a dynamic industrial environment. We are looking for a reliable, active individual who is comfortable performing physical work.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers and follow applicable procedures,; Unload, sort, inspect and handle materials,; Identify and classify non-ferrous metals,; Weigh and organize materials,; Prepare shipments and incoming materials,; Maintain site cleanliness and organization,; Work safely and follow health and safety standards,; Perform other related duties as required to support operations.

Requirements

Experience in an industrial, recycling or related environment (asset),; Experience operating a forklift or other equipment (asset),; Knowledge of different types of metals (asset),; Ability to perform manual work and work indoors, with occasional outdoor work,; Good physical condition and comfortable performing repetitive tasks,; Responsible, punctual, resourceful and safety-conscious,; Strong team player with good collaboration skills.
