NORI - Hostperson

We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused Host to join our team! The Host is key to a successful operation. This individual is responsible for greeting each guest as they arrive to the restaurant. They will also support the service team with delivering memorable hospitality to our guests. As a Host, it is your responsibility to set the tone for the guests visit, you are the first and last contact they have. This individual will need to be quick on your feet and have an engaging attitude.

Responsibilities

Maintain constant communication with culinary and service colleagues; Verify table number, seat number, menu item, modifications, and accompaniments before leaving the kitchen; Deliver food promptly to the correct guest and position; Announce dishes professionally when appropriate; Ensure required condiments, sauces, utensils, and accompaniments are delivered with each item; Maintain knowledge of menu ingredients and common allergens sufficient to safely perform the role; Never guess when asked an allergy or ingredient question; obtain assistance from the appropriate colleague; Inspect plates for obvious presentation or accuracy issues before delivery; Immediately communicate missing, incorrect, delayed, or compromised items; Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo and food-running areas; Assist with table maintenance, clearing, resetting, water service, and other service functions when operationally necessary; Follow food-safety requirements when transporting and handling food; Support all designated Food & Beverage outlets as assigned based on business needs; Perform opening, running, and closing side work; Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to learn menus, table numbers, seat positions, and service standards; Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
