Nurse Director Vascular and Complex Surgery

BIDMC is seeking an experienced Nursing Director to lead a specialized 32-bed Vascular & Complex Surgery Unit in the state-of-the-art Klarman Building. This high-acuity service cares for patients undergoing vascular and endovascular procedures, aneurysm repair, advanced pancreatic surgery, surgical oncology, and other complex surgical interventions. As collaboration with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute continues to expand, the patient population and surgical services are growing, creating an exciting opportunity for a nursing leader to influence quality, innovation, workforce development, and clinical excellence.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; Current Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; 3-5 years of related nursing experience; Experience with web-based applications and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

Nice to have

Master's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Finance, or Hospital Administration; 1-3 years of leadership/management experience
