ONT Field Maintenance Technician

Under general direction, responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and physical well-being of ONT Field including all functions related to utilities, HVAC, and repair.

Responsibilities

Responsible for day-to-day maintenance and physical well-being of ONT Field including utilities, HVAC, and repair; Operates, monitors, repairs, and maintains facility environmental controls, emergency power, electrical, HVAC, fire system, and lighting systems; Performs major and minor repairs to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment; Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on low and high pressure boilers, pumps, motors, shaft alignments, and fans; Repairs and maintains food service equipment including ovens, grills, dishwashers, deep fryers, and refrigeration units; Performs general maintenance on equipment rooms and paints equipment; Locates, checks and cleans building smoke detector heads; Responds to public inquiries and resolves complaints; Ensures safety plans are in place; Operates equipment including forklifts, boom lifts, electric carts, and hand/power tools; Recommends requisition of supplies and materials; Maintains daily work records; Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED; Operate, monitor, repair, and maintain facility's environmental controls, emergency power, electrical, HVAC, fire system, and lighting systems; Perform major and minor repairs to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment; Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on low and high pressure boilers, pumps, motors, shaft alignments, and fans; Repair and maintain food service equipment; Perform general maintenance on equipment rooms; Locate, check and clean building smoke detector heads; Respond to public inquiries in a courteous manner; Ensure safety plans are in place; Operate equipment including forklifts, boom lifts, electric carts, and hand/power tools; Maintain daily work records; Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships; Ability to operate modern office equipment and a motor vehicle; Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, lifting 25lbs; Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays; Must pass background check
