Operations Manager

We are currently looking for an Operations Manager to manage and coordinate all activities in respective Plant Operational areas including development and implementation of manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality and cost efficiency. Work as key team member of the plant to achieve plant targets. This has to be based on agreed KPI in line with regional standards and policies.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate all activities in respective Plant Operational areas; develop and implement manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality and cost efficiency; work as key team member of the plant to achieve plant targets; lead and develop direct reports; manage SRS, Molding and HV Production; allocate direct resources; establish short and long-term objectives for the plant; define Lean strategy of the site; represent the plant/company with major customers, suppliers and partners; control monthly KPIs and define improvement measures; stop shipment and production in case of serious quality problems; prepare annual budget; oversee and control department activities to improve processes and profitability; act as process owner; act as customer representative; act as Product Safety and Conformity Representative Deputy

Requirements

Degree in engineering or economics; fluent English; at least 5-10 years’ experience in management role with broad overview of business processes; in multinational environment; open communicator; inspires others; takes initiatives; able to coach and mentor; leading by example

Nice to have

MBA preferred; preferably in automotive industry
