Operations – Production Operative – Pizza

We have a new opportunity for a Production Operative within our Production Team who would work at Kara Foodservice in Manchester. You will work as part of a fast-paced production team, supporting various stages of the manufacturing process—from preparation and baking to packaging and quality checks. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety and food quality.

Responsibilities

Operate machinery and carry out production tasks including mixing, check weighing, packing, and palletising; Place finished products into the freezer and handle frozen goods safely; Work in environments where temperatures can be extreme (hot bakery areas and cold storage); Perform manual tasks including lifting and repetitive movement; Complete routine quality checks and follow all SOPs; Maintain excellent hygiene and GMP standards across the production area; Adhere to health and safety practices; Take part in training opportunities; Carry out additional duties to support production needs

Requirements

Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude; Reliability, excellent timekeeping, and commitment to show up consistently for shifts; Ability to carry out manual, repetitive tasks safely and effectively; Awareness of health & safety and food safety requirements; Ability to work in hot and cold environments; Good teamwork and communication skills; Willingness to learn, follow processes, and meet targets in a fast-paced environment
