Responsibilities

Assist optometrists in delivering outstanding patient care, from pre-screening to post-exam follow-up; Perform diagnostic tests, gather patient medical histories, and assist in educating patients about their vision benefits; Guide patients in contact lens training, insurance verification, and scheduling their next visit; Ensure smooth patient flow by coordinating appointments and managing office communications; Work closely with your team to meet individual and collective goals for optimal patient care and satisfaction

Requirements

1+ year of experience in customer service (optometric experience preferred but not required); Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate and connect with patients; Strong organizational and time management abilities—you’ll be multitasking in a fast-paced environment; Team-oriented with a passion for self-improvement and a desire to learn new skills; Detail-focused and capable of documenting patient exams and procedures with accuracy; Flexibility to accommodate changing schedules as needed and a proactive attitude toward team success
