Orthopedic PCSM / Primary Care Sports Medicine Heights

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is looking for a full-time Primary Care Sports Medicine physician at its campus in The Heights area. The Department of Orthopedic Surgery provides orthopedic care to professional athletes, performing artists, patients with traumatic injuries and joint disorders, and works closely with primary care sports medicine physicians, physical and occupational therapists. In addition to the standard orthopedic practice, Houston Methodist provides on-field coverage for local high school football games in the Heights area. Responsibilities

Provide care in the standard orthopedic practice; Provide on-field coverage for local high school football games in the Heights area; Be on call during emergencies when required

Requirements

Texas license or in the process of obtaining one; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine/Sports Medicine
