Responsibilities

Follows all safety and operational policies, procedures, and work instructions.; Prepares, cuts, secures and assembles crates to prevent product damage.; Safely transport materials throughout the facility using manual and Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV), including pallet jack, forklift.; Attention to detail with emphasis on reading diagrams, solid math skills, measuring devices and following step-by-step instructions.; Uses basic computer programs, Warehouse Management System (WMS) functions, and handheld scanners to complete daily tasks.; Identifies quality issues and escalates accordingly.; Able to achieve safety, quality and productivity standards.; Ability to physically complete tasks including lifting, moving, and carrying up to 35 lbs. consistently throughout shift.; Maintains clean, organized work areas in accordance with 5S standards.; Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE.; The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time.; The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.; High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
