Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Follow and promote all company customer service programs; Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers and assist in merchandise selection; Assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers; Complete assigned company training; Provide excellent service to phone customers by answering calls, looking up parts, quoting prices, recommending premium and related items, and offering Low-Price Guarantee; Maintain and secure cash drawer, process cash/check/credit card transactions; Process exchanges and returns; Address and resolve customer complaints; Assist with daily image maker, planogram updates, freight, stocking, cleaning; Perform daily operational tasks such as returns, stock adjustments, and inventory counts; Operate brake lathe and test equipment after training; Perform in-store services (e.g., install wipers, test/charge batteries, scan trouble codes, replace headlight capsules); Drive delivery vehicle when business needs dictate; All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time

Nice to have

Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply; Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
