Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service; Support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks; Greet and assist retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner; Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers; Complete assigned company training; Answer phone calls, accurately look up parts and quote prices, recommend premium and related items; Maintain and secure the cash drawer, process cash/check/credit card transactions; Process exchanges and returns; Address and resolve customer complaints; Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, freight receival, stocking shelves, fronting and facing, cleaning; Perform daily operational tasks such as returns, stock adjustments, and inventory cycle counts; Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training; Perform in-store services for customers where allowed; Drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate

Requirements

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time; Driving record must meet the company mandated driving eligibility requirements

Nice to have

Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
