Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Follow and promote all company customer service programs; greet retail/walk-in customers and assist them in selecting merchandise; assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers; complete assigned company training; provide excellent phone customer service, look up parts, quote prices, recommend premium and related items, and offer the Low-Price Guarantee; maintain and secure cash drawer, process cash/check/credit transactions; process exchanges and returns; address and resolve customer complaints; assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, including freight receiving, stocking shelves, fronting and facing, and cleaning; perform daily operational tasks such as preparing returns, assisting with monthly stock adjustments, and inventory cycle counts; operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training; perform in-store services for customers where allowed; drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate; perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time

Nice to have

Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply; Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
