Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service; Support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks; Follow and promote company customer service programs; Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist with merchandise selection; Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers; Complete assigned company training; Answer customer phone calls, look up parts, quote prices, and offer the Low-Price Guarantee; Maintain and secure the cash drawer, accept cash and/or checks, make change, and process credit card transactions; Process exchanges and returns; Address and resolve customer complaints; Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates; Perform daily operational tasks including merchandise returns, stock adjustments, and inventory cycle counts; Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training; Perform in-store services for customers where permitted by law; Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate; All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time

Nice to have

Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
