People Systems and Solutions Manager

The People Systems & Solutions team designs the technology workflows, processes, and data that power Apollo's People organization. Our ecosystem spans the full employee and talent lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, organizational structure, compensation, performance, compliance, reporting, and analytics. The People Systems and Solutions Manager will partner with the Head of People Systems & Solutions, People leadership, and IT to shape and drive Apollo's People Systems roadmap. This is an individual contributor role today; the role may grow to include people management as the function evolves.

Responsibilities

People Systems Strategy & Roadmap: Partner with People leadership and IT to shape a multi-quarter People Systems roadmap, recommend priorities and tradeoffs, and own delivery of agreed-upon initiatives; Process & Workflow Design: Translate complex business needs into simple, scalable processes, requirements, and system configurations across the employee and talent lifecycle; Technology Vendor Management: Lead the evaluation, implementation, and ongoing management of People technology vendors, ensuring our platforms deliver measurable value and work together effectively; Data, Reporting & AI: Improve People data governance, reporting, and analytics while identifying practical AI and automation opportunities that make work simpler and support better decisions; Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner across People, IT, Data, Payroll, Finance, and Legal teams on cross-functional initiatives, align stakeholders, drive decisions without direct authority, and measure the impact of systems investments

Requirements

7+ years of experience in People Systems, People Operations, HR technology, business systems, or a related field; Experience shaping and delivering multi-quarter technology or process roadmaps across multiple platforms and business areas; Strong business analysis and process design skills, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, implementation, and change management; Experience evaluating and managing technology vendors and partnering with IT, data, security, and integration teams; Strong understanding of People data, reporting, governance, automation, and AI-enabled workflows; Thrives in fast paced environments, turning complex challenges into practical, scalable solutions while working effectively across a global organization; Experience mentoring or raising the capabilities of others
