Performance Marketing Manager – Global (12-Month Maternity Cover)

DeepL is at an inflection point in its growth. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. As Performance Marketing Manager, you will own DeepL's global programmatic and account-based advertising programmes end to end, across EMEA, DACH, AMER and APJ for our Language AI, Voice and API product lines.

Responsibilities

Own global programmatic and account-based advertising programmes end to end; Build, launch and optimize account-list and retargeting campaigns across programmatic native, display, CTV, audio and DOOH; Manage substantial always-on media budget; Own ABM platform and build personalized landing pages and microsites; Run coordinated account plays with paid social distribution; Manage day-to-day relationships with DSP and ABM platform partners; Lead media agency selection process; Evaluate new ABM and intent technologies; Own performance reporting across programme; Close gaps in programmatic measurement; Build playbooks, templates and channel guidance

Requirements

4–7+ years in B2B performance or account-based marketing, ideally in enterprise or B2B SaaS, with hands-on ownership of paid campaigns; Deep practical experience with programmatic advertising (DSP campaign setup, account-list targeting, retargeting, budget pacing and optimisation) across native, display, CTV and audio; Experience running an ABM platform or personalisation tooling; Comfort managing meaningful media budgets across multiple markets; Strong vendor and agency management skills; Genuine fluency with measurement, including understanding limits of UTM-based attribution; Track record partnering closely with Field and SDR teams; Strong project management and communication skills; A builder's mindset comfortable operating without a team beneath you
