Personal Assistant

I am a friendly gentleman living in Poringland who is seeking a PA to support me in the community and assist me with everyday living tasks such as accompanying me to social and leisure activities, assisting me to take my dog for a walk, administrative tasks, and personal care. I have a rare condition called Klippel-Feil Syndrome which causes fusion in the cervical spine and depending on the area of fusion, there can be related congenital conditions. I also have Scoliosis, Kyphosis and a rare condition called Aplastic Anaemia. I am a sociable man who likes to keep active. I live at home with my parents, sister and Jack Russell Terrier. I like to get out and about meeting new people and going to the cinema and theatre. This will be a flexible working role, whereby I am seeking a PA to provide holiday and sickness cover for my existing PAs until September. Come September the role will be permanent.

Responsibilities

Support me in the community; Accompanying me to social and leisure activities, such as Able2B, shopping and meeting friends; Driving my mobility equipped car; Assisting me with walking my dog, as well as taking him out with us to visit friends; Supporting me at work by assisting me with tasks such as photocopying and proof reading and other administrative duties; Assisting me during meetings by taking minutes; Personal care; Moving and handling a wheelchair; Setting up and dismantling a mobility scooter; Any other duties as required

Requirements

Friendly, reliable, trustworthy; Good sense of humour; Good literacy skills; Good memory and good listener; Full clean UK driving licence and able to drive a manual car; Dog friendly; Can drive a motability equipped car
