Personal Assistant

Social care work opportunity for a Personal Assistant. Listed below are details of the job and what tasks are involved. I am a highly intelligent 30-year old with high functioning autism, ME/CFS and complex regional pain syndrome in my right hand. I am looking for a Personal Assistant to support me with meal preparation, bathing, trips out, administrative tasks including emails and web browsing and attending medical appointments. I love radio presenting, writing comedy and take an interest in politics. I can suffer with low mood, social anxiety and the effects of past trauma. My ME affects my mobility badly so I use a powered wheelchair outside the home and a walking frame indoors.

Responsibilities

Meal preparation; Personal care; Bathing; Trips out; Administrative tasks including emails and web browsing; Attending medical appointments; Supported activities

Requirements

Flexible; Caring and empathetic; Satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check; Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be current or last employer; Completion of satisfactory probationary period of 6 months; Completion of free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, COSHH, and Personal Care
