Personal Care Specialist (Part Time)

RISE Personal Care Specialists engage in one-on-one interactions with patients and/or customers from the time they enter the retail area until they check out and exit the store. The ideal candidate should be friendly and upbeat, much like a barista in your favorite coffee shop. Personal Care Specialists connect each unique patient and/or customer with just the right product and method of consumption for their needs. The Personal Care Specialist is a master of the menu and knows exactly how to help anyone who walks through the dispensary's doors.

Responsibilities

Engage with and assist patients and/or customers in a customer-facing, intimate retail environment; Play an active part in patients' and/or customers' education on products, methods of consumption, and safety; Recommend a safe and effective regimen suited to each patient and/or customer's needs and stay up to date on product knowledge; Promote a positive, communicative, patient and/or customer-oriented work environment; Assist in verifying order deliveries for accuracy; Support the management team to ensure retail store operations run smoothly and in compliance with applicable rules and regulations; Ensure local and state cannabis regulations are properly enforced and upheld; Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the store is well maintained and compliant; Maintain hard copy files as required; Follow security measures and safety compliance procedures; Complete duties at assigned workstations, including Front of House (Check In, Sales Floor, POS, Curbside, Roll Thru), Back of House (Fulfillment, Receiving, Replenishment, Inventory Counts), and Maintenance; Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

At least one year of customer service experience; Must be 21 years or older; Ability to work varying shifts including mornings, days, nights, and weekends; Reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance; Must pass all required background checks, including state-specific cannabis employment requirements; Valid driver's license or state ID; Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry; Consistent demonstration of excellent customer service skills; Understanding of applicable cannabis laws and regulations, safety regulations, local municipal codes, and organizational rules; Ability to follow instructions and incorporate constructive criticism from managers; Professionalism and integrity, including compliance with HIPAA requirements; Ability to perform tasks for prolonged periods, including moving inventory and materials weighing up to 30 pounds independently

Nice to have

Previous knowledge of cannabis, cannabinoids, and the endocannabinoid system preferred; Preference for specialty, customer-facing retail experience; Previous experience with POS systems; Desire to continuously learn about cannabis products and therapies
