Personal Care Worker

As a Personal Care Worker you'll provide assistance to our residents, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing, independence, interests and choices. Nestled in a quiet street in Sydney's South West, Bass Hill provides high-quality aged care in a friendly residential environment.

Responsibilities

Provide high quality, safe, and timely contemporary personal care; assisting with the functions of daily living according to the individual needs of residents; Support and care for residents as they age and assisting them to maintain their independence and live with dignity, self-determination and comfort; Assist the resident with self-care needs, safe mobility and transfers, and complete documentation; Ensuring an effective and consumer focused care and service delivery for all residents

Requirements

Certificate III in Individual Support & Ageing (or equivalent); Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc); Prior to commencement - complete a National Police Check and or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain)
