Pharmacy Access Rep IV - DME

Oversees the coordination of medication access and the elimination of barriers that may prevent patients from receiving their medications. Takes ownership of advanced tasks, including new employee onboarding, training, and competency development. Leads projects aimed at enhancing patient safety and efficiency within the department while facilitating initiatives and offering mentorship and leadership to pharmacy support staff. Maintains knowledge and skills of medication access and manages a caseload of patients in partnership with a clinical pharmacy specialist.

Requirements

Associate’s degrees in Medical, Secretarial, or related field and five years of relevant experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Capable of working independently with minimum supervision required; Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a professional presentation required; Demonstrated excellent customer relations skills required; Ability to multi-task, managing various details with accuracy, working under pressure and maintaining a professional attitude required

Nice to have

ASHP accredited training program upon hire preferred; Certification from a nationally accredited pharmacy technician certification program (Currently PTCB) upon hire preferred
