Pharmacy Technician II - Home Infusion Call Center

Join our Home Infusion team! This is a full time position located at our Southlake campus in Lenexa, Kansas. Our Customer Care Pharmacy Technicians work in an office setting environment and support the care coordination of our patients by calling patients to confirm refill schedules, supply checks, perform medication reconciliation, reschedule IV pump returns and other tasks as assigned to ensure patient's needs are being met for their Home Infusion care.

Responsibilities

Support care coordination of patients by calling patients to confirm refill schedules, supply checks, perform medication reconciliation, reschedule IV pump returns; Prepares medications and supplies for dispensing, including basic and advanced sterile compounds; Distributes medications, supplies and stock items; Maintains pharmacy inventory; Operates pharmacy computer systems; Compliance and recordkeeping; Patient care communication; Applies medication safety protocols

Requirements

High School Graduate or GED; 2 or more years experience as a pharmacy technician in a comparable setting; Pharmacy Technician Registration - State Board of Pharmacy Kansas and/or Missouri - per work state upon Hire; Technician must maintain certification on an ongoing basis and complete all continuing education requirements; Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) OR equivalent National Pharmacy Technician Certification; Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and/or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
