Phlebotomist/Medical Lab Assistant - 1st Shift

Responsibilities

Perform specimen collection, processing, distribution, and resulting with precision and care; Conduct phlebotomy and capillary punctures for pediatric patients; Ensure each sample is handled accurately to support timely and reliable results

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (official documentation required for compliance); Working knowledge of phlebotomy techniques, reagents, and equipment maintenance; Ability to perform routine procedures with confidence and accuracy; Strong analytical skills to determine specimen requirements and ensure correct patient identification; Excellent interpersonal skills to put patients at ease and clearly explain procedures; Exceptional attention to detail and focus when collecting and handling specimens

Nice to have

Previous phlebotomy experience (1 year preferred); Laboratory or hospital experience (strongly encouraged)
