We’re hiring a Physical Therapist for our Acute Care Rehab Department in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Part-Time Days position located at Baptist South.

We are looking for a Physical Therapist to join our Rehab Team at Baptist South. This position requires a candidate with at least 1 year of recent experience working in an acute care setting, and experience in ortho and neuro care. This is a Part-Time opportunity working Day Shift, 24 hours per week (3 8-hour shifts). The expected shift schedule is expected to include regular Friday shift coverage and Saturday coverage every other week .

Responsibilities

Evaluates, plans, directs and administers physical therapy treatment to patients.; Provides patient care to help improve or restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.; Oversees support staff. Participates in departmental operations and in performance improvement activities.; Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines.; Participates in mandatory education and licensure requirements.

Requirements

1 or more years of Physical Therapy Experience; Experience with Surgical Patient Care; Orthopedics; Experience in Neuro; Experience working in an Acute Care setting; Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Physical Therapy Required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Required; Licensed Physical Therapist from FL Department of Health Required*
