Powered Industrial Truck Operator II

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking a skilled and energetic Warehouse Equipment Operator to join our growing team of professionals. Our equipment operators perform many different tasks; for example, receiving, replenishing, picking, and loading product as it is picked.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials using power equipment; Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion; Perform daily inspection on assigned equipment; Receiving/Putaway: unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations; Order picking: pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of product is loaded and ready; Loading: efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers or containers; Operate all equipment (Reach Truck, Order Selector, Double Walkie Rider, Forklift) safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards; Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage, and report quality variances; Keep appropriate inventory records and reports, assist in physical inventories, and ensure proper stock rotation; Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area and assist in maintaining warehouse security; Comply with OSHA and other applicable standards and report issues to Management; Support and abide by the company's safety program, initiatives, policies, and procedures

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required; Stamina to stand and walk for the entire work shift; Able to speak clearly and listen attentively; Capable of recognizing and distinguishing letters and numbers (both visually and orally) and remembering their sequence; Good basic math skills; Ability to identify numeric and alphanumeric sequences accurately and rapidly; Basic computer usage skills; Ability to lift and carry objects of varying weights, typically 25 to 50 pounds or more; Ability to push and pull carts, pallet jacks, or other equipment loaded with materials; Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and reach; Ability to climb ladders or stairs and work at heights; Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, with certification or training where required; Manual dexterity; Ability to perform repetitive tasks; Stamina and endurance to work in a fast-paced environment and work long hours, weekends, or overtime during peak periods; Commitment to safety protocols

Nice to have

6 months prior work experience is a plus; 6 months of prior Powered Industrial Equipment experience preferred
