Pricing Actuary

The role sits within the global technical pricing team and bears responsibility as a local guardian of the Technical Pricing Framework for all classes in Bermuda

Responsibilities

Deliver timely and accurate actuarial input that contributes to underwriting decision making and Company financial targets; Be the guardian of the Technical Pricing Framework for Financial lines; Ensure models meet the Reinsurance Pricing policy and standards in respect of technical pricing and rate monitoring; Support and drive the model modernization effort within and across the Company, collaborating within the pricing and development teams to migrate to the strategic Technical Pricing infrastructure

Requirements

Qualified actuary with at least 6 years relevant industry experience; Strong quantitative analytical and IT skills

Nice to have

Knowledge of Reinsurance pricing; Experience/Expertise in understanding, analyzing and writing financial lines business; MS Excel; VBA; SQL; MS Power BI; QlikView; R; Python
