Responsibilities

Performs more advanced to complex tasks within a particular field.; Under very general direction, purchases supplies and services from vendors at the lowest cost, according to the company standards and specifications.; Prepares requests for proposals, analyzes quotes received, selects vendors, schedules and expedites deliveries and follows up on invoices received.; This level is viewed as advanced within the scope of the position.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.; Professional certifications are highly desirable, such as:; CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply); MCIPS; PMP (advantageous); Supply Chain or Contract Management certifications; Typically 12+ years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.; Proven experience managing procurement activities on large-scale infrastructure, rail, transportation, construction, or engineering projects.
