Product Architect Flight Controls computer A220

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Avionics Computer Architect (f/m) to join our Avionics Products Development department based in Toulouse, France. Within this exciting and challenging context, you will play a key role in the development of a new Avionic Computer dedicated to Flight Controls of the A220 aircraft.

Responsibilities

Play a key role in the development of a new Avionic Computer dedicated to Flight Controls of the A220 aircraft; Manage/challenge the computer specification with regards to the needs and the feasibility; Follow-up / monitor the supplier of the Avionic Computer from a technical standpoint; Follow-up product maturity through contribution to V&V prioritization activities, prioritization of correction of anomalies and industrialisation follow-up; Contribute to safety analysis and demonstration for certification

Requirements

Strong experiences in Equipment/System level development with experiences in Hardware & Software development; Good knowledge of aeronautical stakes/regulations (e.g. ARP4754, DO178, DO254, DO160); Good analysis / synthesis skills; Good communication & negotiation skills; A negotiation level of French and English is required; Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity
