Product Builder Intern

Product Builder Intern at ShopBack Group in Singapore, working hands-on on consumer-facing features with an AI-native workflow, including prototyping, quality checks, research, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Hands-on work on a real surface, owning workstreams on consumer-facing features and driving alignment; Prototype to think, using AI-assisted tools to build working prototypes before specs are written; AI-native approach to everything, including building durable AI tools and agentic workflows; Craft accountability including localisation, edge cases and interaction detail under deadline pressure; Quality checks on own AI output, building test cases, scoring criteria and failure-mode coverage; Systems and workflows, leaving patterns, components and decisions in formats engineers and AI tools can consume; Research that changes a decision, running interviews, surveys and usability tests and synthesising findings; Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, engineers, data, research, marketing and business leaders daily

Requirements

Currently pursuing, or recently completed, a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university; Available for a full-time 6-month internship, based at our Singapore office; At least one piece of evidence of something you have built, submitted with your application: a portfolio, a personal project, or a link to a public repository; English proficiency, as the role involves daily collaboration with teams across our markets; Penultimate or final-year student, or a fresh graduate; AI Builder with demonstrable use of AI tools (Claude Code, Codex, or similar) to build agentic workflows, sharpen analysis and move several times faster; Problem-solver comfortable with ambiguity, solution-centric, and able to identify the real problem; Developing eye for product quality plus ability to prototype a consumer experience end to end; Clear communicator fluent in spoken and written English; Self-starter mentality; Genuine curiosity about tech, startups, digital commerce or growth businesses; Team player; Ownership mentality accountable for outcomes
