Production Planning Scheduler

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to production and inventory control functions; Review completed sales orders for accuracy and expedites paperwork related to sales orders; Contact vendors related to on-time delivery dates; Maintain files and records of current and potential suppliers, materials, prices, delivery dates and inventories; Prepare materials and supplies purchase orders, analyze quotes, and expedite deliveries and shipments as needed; Process change orders, notify vendors of material and quantity requirement revisions, and contact vendors regarding rate adjustments and incorrect materials; Provide data as requested to forecast estimates and schedules of goods in process and needs for future orders; Provide input to schedules, inventory reports, surplus stock lists, production specifications, and plant capacity data as requested

Requirements

Associate degree, Technical Degree or equivalent experience; 0-2 years related experience
