Production Process Specialist - Assembly

As Production Process Specialist in the Assembly at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you play a key role in ensuring that every component is installed correctly and to the highest quality in the car body arriving from the Paint Shop — ensuring that a complete vehicle leaves the assembly line.

Responsibilities

Ensure every component is installed correctly and to the highest quality in the car body arriving from the Paint Shop; collaborate with quality, maintenance, logistics and industrial specialists, production area leader, team leaders, technicians, and line workers to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure product quality; involved in developing best practices; identify opportunities for process improvement (cost, assembly time, quality, ergonomics, poka-yoke, etc.); support design and manufacturing in the introduction of changes to the product; track KPIs for the area (planned assembly time, headcount, budget, assembly time per unit, etc.); initiate corrective actions in case of quality deviations

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or related engineering, or equivalent work experience; at least 2 years of work experience in an engineering position in a manufacturing environment; willing to work on-site during regular business hours; native-level Hungarian and working proficiency in English; confident in designing and managing processes; knowledge of quality assurance principles; able to make decisions based on production data; proficient in applying lean principles and tools
