Project Manager Construction Consultancy

A leading property and construction consultancy in London is looking for a Project Manager with strong Cat B fit out experience to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who wants to deliver high-quality workplace projects for occupiers, landlords, and corporate clients across London. The Project Manager will manage Cat B office fit out projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients, design teams, cost consultants, contractors, and building managers. This Project Manager role would suit a confident Project Manager who understands fast-paced commercial fit out schemes, stakeholder pressures, and programme-led delivery. The successful Project Manager will be client-facing, organised, and able to take ownership of projects with limited supervision. You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

Manage Cat B office fit out projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients, design teams, cost consultants, contractors, and building managers; Deliver Cat B commercial workplace fit out projects across London, supporting clients through briefing, design coordination, procurement, construction, handover, and close out; Responsible for programme management, consultant coordination, risk tracking, reporting, contract administration, chairing meetings, and contractor liaison; Manage client expectations, keep stakeholders informed, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard

Requirements

Prior experience working within a construction consultancy environment; Strong Cat B office fit out experience; Commercial workplace, occupier, landlord, or refurbishment project experience; A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or similar; MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or working towards; Good knowledge of JCT contracts; Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills; A proactive and professional approach
