Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PA License - PMHNP

Blackbird Health is a clinician-founded mental health organization delivering virtual and in-person services across Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, and Maryland. The PMHNP role involves psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management for children, adolescents, and young adults ages 2–26, working within an integrated, interdisciplinary care model. Multiple remote employment tracks are available: W2 full-time (FTE), W2 part-time (20 hrs/week), and 1099 contractor.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management for children, adolescents, and young adults; Build meaningful relationships with patients and families, support engagement in treatment, and educate them on care options; Work alongside an interdisciplinary team of psychotherapists, specialists, and clinical leaders; Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care

Requirements

Active Pennsylvania PMHNP/CRNP/APN license; Active DEA registration; State Prescriptive Authority; Board Certified by ANCC or AANP (PMHNP-BC); Master's Degree from an accredited nursing program; 1+ years of independent psychiatric experience under licensure, with direct experience serving children, adolescents, or young adults; Available during Blackbird's peak core hours (after 3:00 PM ET weekdays and/or weekends); Tech-savvy, with a computer, phone, high-speed internet, and proficiency in EHR systems and Google Suite
