Psychometrist - Myers Park - FT

Under the direction of the supervising neuropsychologist, administers and scores a comprehensive battery of standardized neuropsychological and psychological tests.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the supervising neuropsychologist, administers and scores standardized neuropsychological and psychological tests; Assists with coordination of testing procedures for clinical and/or research programs; Participates in development and modification of test batteries; Prepares patient charts and testing materials; Administers tests in a standardized manner documenting behavioral observations; Utilizes computerized scoring software, word processing, and database programs to prepare summary of test results; Assists with administration duties such as scheduling patients, reminder phone calls, insurance checks, and inventory checks

Requirements

None Required; Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related field; Typically requires 1 year of experience in neuropsychological procedures or similar direct patient care; Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions and follow standardized protocols; Organized and detail oriented in order to ensure accuracy and completeness of neuropsychological data; Excellent interpersonal and patient service skills; Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office programs; Ability to sit for extended periods of time, and occasionally reach, bend, stoop, or lean over; Ability to hear normal voice level communications in person or through the telephone; Ability to speak clearly and understandably
