Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:; Quality Assurance & Process Control; Conduct process audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and manufacturing specifications; Investigate quality incidents and non-conformances, leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions; Oversee equipment calibration and maintenance schedules to ensure measurement system accuracy; Manage supplier quality assessments and maintain quality documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements Quality Technician Management & Development; Manage and direct quality inspection staff, providing comprehensive training and professional development opportunities; Conduct regular performance evaluations of inspectors in accordance with established quality management standards; Establish and maintain competency frameworks to ensure inspectors meet required quality standards and certifications; Continuous Improvement & Budget Oversight; Lead continuous improvement initiatives across departments whilst maintaining a strong internal supplier-customer orientation; Participate in the annual budgeting process to ensure optimal allocation of quality department resources; Develop and implement quality metrics and key performance indicators to monitor departmental performance

Requirements

Education/Certification:; Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Scientific field (Bachelor degree minimum); Professional Experience:; 3–5 years in Quality Management; Leadership Experience:; 1–2 years leading a small team or group (preferred); 2–3 years in automotive manufacturing and/or rubber manufacturing (preferred); Fluent English communication
