Responsibilities

Support department wide steering & communication; Implementation of project and initiatives to support continuous improvement; Assist the project specialist on critical on-going projects and upcoming milestones; Assist on supply chain topics with regards the sub-component stock tracking and crisis management on critical component shortages; Special scopes on specific supplier topics as defined by the Hiring manager and the assignment supervisor; Manage department wide communication landscape; Perform other duties as assigned by management; Manage communication landscape & implement improvements; Organization and coordination of project milestones and project events; Creation and implementation of reporting structures for current and upcoming projects; Implementation of AI technology, digitalization and automation department wide; Implement OEE and value stream data collection system at suppliers; Apply problem solving methodology (8D) to solve recurrent quality topics with a specific supplier

Requirements

MS Office, advanced Excel, PowerPoint; Good organizational and project management skills; Good communication skills and analytical, solution-oriented mindset; Experience working in teams or leading groups of people; Assignment qualifications from JFDSP; Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major); Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States; Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application; Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week); Transfer students must have a GPA from current university; Must attach a copy of unofficial transcript; Must complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term; Work term dates are January 11 - May 14 2027; For co-ops only: Must be an enrolled student during all three rotations
