Quantity Surveyor

A well-established, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Manchester, with travel across Lancashire. This is an excellent opportunity for a career-driven Quantity Surveyor looking to progress within a supportive and diverse environment. The successful Quantity Surveyor will play a key role on a variety of public sector projects, including works for the defence sector, police stations, and wider governmental frameworks. Project locations are spread across the Manchester region, with schemes in surrounding Lancashire areas. This position will involve both pre- and post-contract duties, cost planning, preparing tender documents, and client liaison. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be expected to manage your own workload with support from senior team members, while also liaising directly with clients and attending site visits.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ UK consultancy or client-side experience; BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent; Working towards or keen to achieve MRICS chartership; Full UK driving licence and own transport (essential); Willingness to travel across Lancashire and wider North West; Strong knowledge of pre- and post-contract duties; Strong communication skills; Client-facing approach
