Quantity Surveyor

A respected independent property and construction consultancy is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Norwich team, with opportunities available from Project Surveyor through to Associate level. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their career within a supportive consultancy environment, working across a varied pipeline of professional quantity surveying services.

Responsibilities

Delivering pre and post-contract cost management services; Supporting clients through cost planning, procurement, tender documentation, contract administration, valuations and final accounts; Working closely with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure projects are delivered commercially, efficiently and to a high standard; Cost planning, procurement advice, tender reporting, valuations, change control, cost reporting and final account negotiations; Supporting client meetings, managing commercial risks and providing clear, practical advice throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

Strong background as a Quantity Surveyor within a PQS or construction consultancy environment; Experience from Project Surveyor through to Associate level will be considered; MRICS, working towards MRICS, or qualified by experience will be considered; Associate Partner candidates must be chartered and able to demonstrate the potential to bring new fee-earning work; Strong communication skills, commercial awareness and the ability to build long-term client relationships

Nice to have

Infrastructure experience; Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a similar construction-related discipline
