Radiologic Technologist

This position supports busy Ortho clinic. It is Monday -Friday 8-5pm. Also a sports clinic that runs Aug -October on Saturday; 8-10am. Addendum: Advocate Medical Group-Leroy: Radiology Tech also performs all lab assistant duties and is trained by Federal Standards in Urine Drug and Breath Alcohol Testing.

Responsibilities

Determination of appropriate radiological technique and position for patient using immobilization and support devices; Operates radiology equipment appropriately; Adherence to all accepted safety standards and practices to ensure patient safety and quality patient care; Coordination of quality control tasks; Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

IDNS license; Graduate from an accredited AMA School of Radiology; Knowledge of Health Information System; Basic knowledge of radiology equipment; CPR certification; Licensed by IDNS; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registered (ARRT); Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance
