Region 1 Sr Retail Crime Investigator

Supervisory role overseeing 6-12 RCIs in assigned markets, managing complex organized theft/fraud investigations, coordinating blitzes and regional RCI calls, and ensuring cases are resolved per company guidelines.

Responsibilities

Effectively supervise 6-12 RCIs in assigned market(s); Participate in periodic performance reviews of RCI team members; Manage complex organized theft/fraud investigations including monitoring merchandise for sale at independent shops, flea markets and social media to identify Weis stolen product; Assist District AP Manager with RCI recruitment, interviewing and hiring; Responsible for RCI training, managing schedules, reviewing cases and overseeing performance metrics; Effectively manage and prioritize RCI time and schedules to best meet business needs and theft trends; Coordinate blitzes with RCI team and host regional RCI conference calls as needed; Drive self-scan investigations, approve prosecutions and ensure cases are resolved per company guidelines

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; Minimum of 1-year Asset Protection experience performing equal or similar functions to above description; Ability to direct and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
