Regional Medical Gas Specialist Senior (GA Market)

Regional Medical Gas Specialist Senior covering the Georgia Market; Full Time; 1st Shift. Partners with the Medical Gas Program Manager to ensure consistent rollout and execution of medical gas program initiatives, provides code consulting, acts as regional liaison, supports facility RFAs, coordinates training, ensures policy adherence, and monitors compliance and performance metrics.

Requirements

Certified Medical Gas Systems Maintainer (ASSE 6040); Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent knowledge obtained through years of trade experience; 5 years’ experience in healthcare medical gas management; Working knowledge of medical gas and vacuum systems; Strong technical knowledge of healthcare-specific medical gas and vacuum codes and standards (e.g., CMS, TJC, NFPA 99); Detail-oriented with organizational and time management skills; Excellent communication and collaboration skills; Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences; Commitment to customer service, timely response, collaboration, and diversity; Ability to conduct site inspections, including climbing ladders and accessing spaces such as mechanical rooms; Ability to work in environments with exposure to construction sites and operational healthcare facilities; Ability and willingness to travel within the designated region; Valid driver’s license

Nice to have

Additional ASSE Certifications; Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM); Certified Health Care Safety Professional (CHSP); Certified Safety Professional (CSP); Associate’s or bachelor's Degree in related field; Experience with medical gas system design, installation, or inspection; Familiarity with healthcare construction and renovation projects; Active membership in a recognized professional organization
