Requirements

Current Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario; BCLS required at time of hire; Minimum 2-5 years recent Paediatric experience in an acute setting (e.g. Inpatient unit or Emergency Dept.) required; PALS certificate an asset; NRP certification required within 6 months of hire; Related courses in paediatric nursing preferred; Venipuncture and I.V. therapy skills; Demonstrated ability to work with families; Breastfeeding certificate required an asset; Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize.; Good team player.; Satisfactory employment and attendance record.
