Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Medical Telemetry

4 North is a 29-bed Cardiac Medical Telemetry unit that specializes in the treatment of new onset medical conditions and continuum of care for a diverse population of adult patients. Common medical conditions addressed by our healthcare team include, but are not limited to congestive heart failure, pulmonary edema, hypertension, stroke, cardiac arrhythmias, endocarditis, and initial cardiac work up for chest pain and/or shortness of breath. Initial cardiac work up typically includes prepping patients for cardiac stress test.

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements

1 year of inpatient nursing experience preferred; At least 6 months required experience to come in outside of the New Grad residency program; Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
