Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Medical Telemetry - Sinai

Cardiac Medical Telemetry - 3 South at Aurora Sinai Medical Center. Full-time position, 36 hours per week, nights 1900-0730, every 3rd weekend rotation, 50% holiday requirements annually. 3 South is a 32 bed Step Down ICU/Progressive Unit caring for patients of moderate to high acuity, with Dxs such as cardiac arrhythmias, elevated troponin, CHF, LifeVest, DM exacerbations, chest tubes, peritoneal dialysis, post interventional radiology procedures, and respiratory illness. Patients are admitted from the ICU or the emergency department. The unit offers a New Graduate Nurse Residency Program and a favorable nurse-to-patient ratio.

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association; Strong interest and passion for service and health equity; A commitment to teamwork, communication, and continual professional growth; New grads Welcome!
