Registered Nurse (RN) - CV Step Down

24-bed private CV Stepdown and telemetry unit (4Main CV Stepdown) specializing in caring for cardiothoracic/vascular surgical, pre-operative and post-operative progressive care patients. The unit also serves as med/surg overflow and includes teammates new to critical care or enrolled in the Critical Care Academy (CCA). Full time, 36 hours per week. Night shifts 7p-7a, 3-12 hour shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication; Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association; ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required/expected within 6 months of hire date
