Registered Nurse (RN) - CVIMC

Our 16-bed Cardiovascular Intermediate Care Unit provides specialized care for patients recovering from cardiovascular surgery as well as those with complex cardiac conditions requiring close monitoring. This dynamic environment bridges the gap between intensive care and progressive care, offering nurses the opportunity to develop advanced skills in hemodynamic monitoring, arrhythmia management, and post-operative recovery. The CVIMC team is committed to clinical excellence, collaboration, and patient-centered care. We work closely with cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiologists, and multidisciplinary partners to ensure optimal outcomes for every patient. Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
