Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Atrium Health Lincoln Emergency Department is 25 bed unit that provides 24-hour emergency medical services to Lincoln County and surrounding communities. From broken bones and severe cuts to heart attacks and strokes, we are prepared to provide patients of all ages the highest level of emergency care. Our expert staff includes physicians who are board-certified in emergency medicine.

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association; ACLS required within 6 months of hire

Nice to have

1 year of Critical Care (ED, ICU) experience preferred
