Registered Nurse (RN)- Emergency Department

Aurora Medical Center – Burlington's emergency department provides comprehensive, 24/7 emergency care as a Level III Trauma Center, staffed by board-certified emergency physicians. It is Stroke Certified and offers Telestroke technology. Full-time position (36 hours per week) with three 12-hour night shifts, 18:45-07:15, including rotating weekends and holidays. Pay range: $38.20 - $57.30.

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association within 6 months of hire
