Registered Nurse (RN) Labor and Delivery Float

Float position in a high-risk Level III Perinatal Unit in a northside Chicago neighborhood, floating to Postpartum. Schedule: 36 hours per week, 3 shifts per week from 7p-7a, every other weekend and every other holiday, plus 2 on-call shifts of 12 hours for a 6 week poster. Pay range: $38.20 - $57.30. Orientation includes ACLS/BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation, Fetal Monitoring, and Stable Newborn assessment.

Responsibilities

Providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association; One year or more of Labor and Delivery and/or Postpartum experience is required
