Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Surgical/Ortho)

Think beyond traditional med/surg—2 Surgical is a specialized unit dedicated to post-surgical and orthopedic care, offering focused expertise and advanced recovery support for patients after surgery. With 16 private beds on the 2nd floor for post-surgical patients and 8 private beds on the 4th floor for orthopedic patients, we deliver expert, personalized recovery support.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in practical nursing; Practical nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association; Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday; Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist; Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. over the head; Must be able to carry up to 40 lbs. a reasonable distance; Must be able to push/pull with 30 lbs. of force; Must be able to perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present; Position requires use of foot pedals on carts or machines; Must have functional vision, speech, and hearing
