Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Cardiology

Our 30-bed 7Heart unit specializes in patients with acute and chronic disease processes, including, but not limited to, congestive heart failure patients and cardiology patients requiring diagnostic testing and state-of-the-art surgical and non-surgical interventions for atrial fibrillation and other dysrhythmias. 7HT also extends care and treatment to patients suffering from other organ system diseases and supports med/surg overflow patients.

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association; ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required/expected within 6 months of hire date

Nice to have

Cardiac/critical care experience preferred
